Key Responsibilities of the Religious Education (RE) Teacher: Plan, prepare, and deliver stimulating RE lessons across Key Stages. Encourage critical thinking, respect, and understanding of diverse beliefs and worldviews. Deliver creative lessons that promote discussion, reflection, and cultural awareness. Monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic and personal growth. Work collaboratively with colleagues to strengthen the RE curriculum and promote a positive learning environment. Requirements for the Religious Education (RE) Teacher role: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience teaching Religious Education at the school level. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for exploring religion, culture, and ethics. Excellent communication, behaviour management, and organisational skills. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
