Learning Support Assistant – LSA in a Primary school – New Forest
Start – March 2026
Pay - £85-£95
Part Time and Full Time Roles available
8.30 till 3.30pm

You will also be surrounded by likeminded people who not only want to support the students but their colleagues around them.
Duties vary widely but can include:
* Helping with pupils learning and development
* Supporting those with ASC, SEMH and trauma
* Keeping records of each pupil’s progress
* Working 1:1 or in full class settings
* Helping students develop life skills and mentoring them to have a positive outlook
The Successful candidate will:
* Have some understanding of trauma and supporting children with social, emotional and mental health needs.
* Have a good standard of literacy, numeracy skills
* Build up positive relationships with pupils and staff
* Understand or be willing to learn how children develop, think and learn
* Be resilient and patient when working with groups of children or on a one to one basis
* Have experience in a similar role or have a passion to learn the skills above
