Job Opportunity: Management Accountant (Maternity Cover) - Manufacturing | Darlington | Hybrid | Until March 2026

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing company based in Darlington, seeking a talented individual to join their finance team on a maternity cover contract until March 2026 is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, offering hybrid working, a competitive salary, and the chance to

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct sales and margin analysis (volume, price, mix) against budget and forecast
* Deliver insightful reporting using Business Intelligence (BI)/Data Warehouse tools
* Manage warranty and rebate calculations and analysis
* Perform overhead cost analysis, including accruals and provisions
* Complete sales company group reporting packages with variance analysis
* Prepare monthly management accounts and divisional review presentations
* Lead monthly P&L forecasting and contribute to strategic financial planning
* Support the annual budgeting process and reporting deliverables
✅ About You:
* Finalist or fully qualified accountant (e. CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
* Strong background in business partnering and financial analysis
* Proficient in financial systems and BI tools
* Available to start immediately or at short notice
