We have an exciting opportunity for a Approved Electrician to join our team at our Runcorn Data Centre!

Install and modify electrical systems including containment (tray, ladder, conduit), power, and lighting.
Commission electrical systems and ensure proper documentation.
Maintenance & Fault Finding:
Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems and equipment.
Conduct electrical testing and inspection in accordance with BS7671 (IET Wiring Regulations).
Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota and standby cover.
Ensure rapid response to critical faults affecting data centre operations.
Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
Ensure installations meet current electrical regulations.
Teamwork & Supervision:
Supervise subcontractors when required.
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
~ City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (Inspection & Testing).
~Minimum 2 years post-apprenticeship experience in electrical installations.
~ Experience working in live, operational environments (preferably data centres or critical infrastructure).
~ Full UK driving licence.
Knowledge of data centre standards (e.g., High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
