Are you an experienced Stock Controller with a keen eye for detail and a passion for efficient inventory management? Reed Business Support is recruiting on behalf of a well-established client based in Chatham, seeking a proactive and organised individual to join their team.
Stock Controller Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective stock control strategies.
* Oversee daily stock activities and allocate inventory to fulfil orders.
* Maintain and update inventory management systems.
* Ensure accurate stock records and manage inventory levels.
* Book in delivered stock promptly and accurately.
* Continuously improve stock control systems and processes.
Stock Controller What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in a stock control or similar role.
* Strong understanding of inventory and supply chain management.
* Supervisory or team leadership experience is desirable.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory software.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong organisational and planning abilities.
* High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
* A collaborative team player.
Stock Controller Additional Information:
This role includes occasional travel to a manufacturing facility in Leicestershire, to conduct monthly stock takes as required and due to this you would be required to hold a driving licence and have your own vehicle.
