An Electronics Design Engineer is required for a leading control and technology solutions manufacturer, based in Tonbridge, Kent.
The successful candidate will handle all aspects of the company's current and future product range, with a strong technical knowledge of controls and circuit design.
Preferred experience includes mobile phone app design and development.
Electronics Design Engineer Job Overview
* Design analogue (primarily audio) circuits, including class "D" power amplifiers.
* Design digital circuits, including processors and interfaces.
* Work with wireless technologies such as Bluetooth for streaming audio.
* Develop embedded firmware using C in a GCC environment.
* Work with Embedded Linux on ARM platforms and digital signal processing.
* Ensure product design complies with EMC, ESD, and Radio Equipment Directive regulations.
* Create technical specifications from marketing briefs and collaborate within a team.
* Occasionally engage with customers and conduct site visits.
* Utilize MS Office and Cadence OrCAD design tools.
Electronics Design Engineer Job Requirements
* Degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or related field.
* Strong understanding of PCB design and testing, including PCB assembly knowledge.
* Deep knowledge of wireless technologies such as Bluetooth for streaming audio.
* Understanding of mobile app design and development.
* Must be located within a commutable distance to Tonbridge, Kent.
Salary & Benefits
* £28,000 to £35,000, depending on experience. Hybrid working available.
* 35 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with a 1-hour lunch.
* 28 days holiday including bank holidays.
