Due to an increase in demand, Pertemps are working in partnership with the Royal Mail to source Postal Delivery Workers to support with their busy operation both Postal Delivery Drivers and Collections Drivers within the Wrexham depot.Postal Delivery role:- Location: Wrexham- Shift: 5 days per week between Monday - Sunday- Monday - Friday: 14:00 - 10:00, Saturday 10:00 - 16:00, Sunday 11:00 - 19:00- Hourly Rate: £13.37 per hour PAYE- Sundays: £14.49 per hour PAYE- Overtime after 40 hours worked £15.68 per hourCollections Driver Role:- Location: Wrexham- Shift: 5 days per week between Monday - Friday, working 14:00 - 18:00.- Hourly Rate: £13.37 per hour PAYE- Sundays: £14.49 per hour PAYE- Overtime after 40 hours worked £15.68 per hourAbout the Postal Delivery Worker roleYou'll start your day in the local delivery office, sorting and gathering the mail needed for your route. You will collect your allocated vehicle or trolley and your hand-held computer device (detailing your route and tracking your mail) and then deliver the letters and parcels to your local community.About You- The ideal candidate for this role will be upbeat, self-motivated, and happy to work alone as well as part of a team.- You will be helpful and approachable displaying a strong sense of community, as you get to know the people you meet on your round.- Royal Mail deliver parcels whatever the weather, so you will enjoy working outdoors and due to the amount of walking required you will need to be relatively fit and healthy.- You will be smartly presented, always acting in a professional and courteous manner.Previous Experience- Some previous experience in a customer facing or delivery role would be ideal but not essential.- You will be required to complete a full DBS security check prior to commencing work.- Driving licence requirements- A full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address)- Maximum 6 penalty points- Unfortunately, we are unable to accept IN/DD/DR/CD endorsementsIf you are interested in this role, please apply online or contact Pertemps South Wales on .
