Lister House Surgery is looking for a salaried GP to join their busy, GMS, training practice in Hatfield (located near the Asda on The Common). This part‑time position (6 sessions per week) starts on 1 April 2026. We are flexible with the session to be covered to suit the GP’s needs.

The role will include all general duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.

Lister House Surgery has strong clinical and administration support and excellent working relationships within the primary care network. The practice serves a list of 14,000 patients and is a modern, purpose‑built facility.
* SystmOne practice, users of Ardens and AccuRx.
* Strong collaborative working with the three other practices in Hatfield Primary Care Network and the wider GP Federation.
* Organised GP team: 8 partners, 3 salaried GPs, and 2 registrars.
* Experienced nursing team: 1 nurse prescriber, 2 practice nurses, and 1 HCA, with nurse‑led minor illness and chronic disease clinics.
* Training practice.
* Flexible session times to suit GP needs.
* Low home visit rate supported by a home visiting service.
* Excellent transport links to London.
* Willing to wait for the right candidate.
* ARRS support: social prescribers, pharmacist, pharmacist technician, physiotherapist, care co‑ordinator, frailty nurse, mental health team, and health and wellbeing coaches.
Qualifications
Essential
* Fully qualified GP with GMC registration
* Annual appraisal and revalidation (when appropriate)
* Be on the NHSE medical performers list
