Responsibilities
* To assist in the running of the D&T and Food Technology department and to provide full technician support to teaching staff, particularly in the preparation and cleaning/clearing of lesson materials, supporting teaching and learning and undertaking administrative tasks.
* We have an experienced Head of department as well as two other staff that teach DT and one full time Food Technology teacher. Staff have experience of working in industry and have a focus of encouraging a real love of the subject with our students and the wider school.
* We build a culture of learning through theory, design and skills based tasks to ensure well rounded students within the subject who can respond to an industry standard brief as well as prepare them to demonstrate everyday life skills.
