Annual salary of £44,447 (FTE) Permanent role Full-time (35 hours, Mon – Fri), part-time and flexible working patterns available Liverpool city centre office base, hybrid working Proposed Interview Date: Thursday 4th September 2025 The role As the Redwing Asset Surveyor you will be ensuring the effective and efficient management and delivery of complex property matters including responsive repairs, planned and major works, void works and investment planning. You’ll also be required to diagnose, advise and organise appropriate remedial works for complex repair and building defect issues, liaising with all relevant internal and external stakeholders. Planned works and complex reactive repairs will be underpinned with a robust approach to service delivery that offers the best value for money and outcomes for customers. The right fit HNC/HND Building Surveying is essential. Member of relevant professional body such as RICS/CIOB desirable. Experience of Section 20 processes and the procurement and mobilisation of external contractors. Strong technical understand of building pathology and most cost-effective, efficient methods of rectification. Experience and understanding of procurement, PCR Regulations and procurement methods and systems. Ability to understand technical specifications of works through a variety of methods such as drawings, plans and schedules of work. Experience of Auto CAD is desirable but not necessary. Experience of maintaining accurate records on an asset management system or data base. Knowledge of Health & Safety and Building Regulations. Experience of managing contractors to successfully undertake planned works to occupied rented properties.
