The Pre‑Registration Optometrist will receive extensive training and support from a qualified supervisor and the Optom Academy, with the aim of becoming a fully qualified Optometrist.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high quality patient care and a memorable customer experience.
* Acquire and apply clinical skills through face‑to‑face workshops, mock OSCEs, and virtual sessions.
* Work with in‑store, regional, and home office teams to support clinical and service queries.
* Commit to the Scheme for Registration, associated assessments, and examinations.
Skills and Qualifications
* A student registered with the GOC.
* On track to achieve a 2:1 or higher degree qualification.
* Wales – have completed WGOS mandatory training.
* Able to use your skills and passion for the role to deliver a memorable customer experience.
* Passionate about shaping the culture of the department.
* A desire to be the best you can be and committed to completing the Scheme for Registration and associated assessments and examinations.
