FM Conway currently has an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join our Water and Drainage Management division. You will be managing the works programme, client relationship and team performance for our wastewater contracts. This is a full-time, permanent position based out of either Bishop’s Stortford or Rowhedge depot.
The duties of the Contracts Manager role will include:
-Managing and resourcing the works programme, working within the constraints and specification of the contracts
-Building effective and professional working relationships with clients
-Managing the teams at both depots, dealing effectively with performance or personnel issues
-To oversee financial management, planning, systems and controls of specified contracts
-Always promoting, and managing safe working processes, including carrying out safety audits in accordance with pre-determined targets
What skills and experience do you need?
We are looking for a Contracts Manager with previous experience in the highways, drainage or utilities industry, ideally within the wastewater sector. You will be a confident communicator with strong client relationship management skills as well as team management experience. You will have the ability to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
