What You’ll Do
As a Category Buyer, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end procurement process for your category, from strategy creation to supplier relationship management. You’ll:
* Develop and implement innovative category strategies that optimise buying power.
* Lead the tendering process and manage supplier performance.
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the NHS and supplier network.
* Ensure compliance with Public Contract Regulations 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023 .
* Drive savings for the NHS while supporting growth for supplier partners.
