Working hours: Monday to Wednesday 9:00am to 5pm with an hour for lunch (21 hours per week)
The successful candidate will have experience of working within a retail environment. You’ll be passionate about customer service, have strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a small and dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities
* Being dedicated to delivering excellent customer service
* Deal with customer needs and resolve any issues
* Price stock correctly and merchandise in line with Company procedure
* Make customers aware of product promotions and offers
* Assist with unloading of deliveries and storage of stock
* Operate till, accept payment by cash, credit and debit card, cashing up
* Product Knowledge-Providing detailed information about our products to customers
* Replenishing Stock
* Keep up to date with the latest products
* Keeping displays to the highest standard
* Ensuring the store is clean, tidy and well stocked
* Make sure our shelves are well-stocked at all times
* Unpack daily stock deliveries
* Compacting sorted materials eg. Cardboard and metal
* Keep the store clear and ensure any potential hazards are dealt with quickly and efficiently
