About the Role
We are delighted to be working with a prestigious Independent mixed school in Barnet to recruit an Art Teacher. This full-time, permanent position is available for an immediate start and offers the opportunity to teach Art up to KS5, fostering students’ creativity, artistic expression, and technical skills.

Responsibilities
* Teach Art across KS3, KS4, and KS5, inspiring students in a range of artistic disciplines
* Guide students in developing portfolios and preparing for GCSE and A-Level Art coursework
* Work collaboratively to enhance the curriculum with new media, fine art, and contemporary design elements
* Encourage conceptual thinking, experimentation, and artistic risk-taking in students’ work
* Contribute to extracurricular activities such as student exhibitions, creative workshops, and art trips
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree in Art, Fine Art, or a related subject
* PGCE or QTS
* Experience teaching Art up to KS5
