Overview
We\'re on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands-on Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker with us you\'ll help people gain more independence in their daily lives, while working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people. Our residential service in Britley is a welcoming and friendly environment, and you can be sure that no two days will be the same. You\'ll enhance the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in the local community; the next you could be unwinding with them by playing games or watching films. This is an amazing role for someone who wants to make a meaningful difference and help individuals grow in confidence and independence toward their goals, whether that\'s cooking dinner by themselves or going on holiday.
Responsibilities
* Support individuals to gain more independence in daily living and participate in activities.
* Teach new life skills and support social engagement within the community and the service.
* Assist with personal care as required and support individuals to meet their goals.
* Work as part of a dynamic team to provide a caring, person-centred service.
* Support individuals to build confidence and independence to reach their personal goals.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Full UK driving license.
* Resilient, flexible and composed in approach.
* Experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
* Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds and challenging behaviours.

* Male Support Worker - Britley - £12.22 ph
* 24 hours contract; Typical shifts are between 8am–8pm and 8pm–8am; fully flexible; must be able to work nights.
