Young With Solutions is a TikTok ecommerce agency built by creators, not consultants.



Founded by Timotée Chanut, a French high school dropout turned TikTok creator with 2.3M followers, YWS has grown to ~50 people across Brooklyn and Paris, managing $250M+ in annual digital ad spend for brands like Converse, Duolingo, Shopify, Victoria's Secret, and Amazon.


No theory. No recycled playbooks. No one who hasn't built on TikTok themselves.




The Role


This is a career path, not a job title. You'll start as an Account Manager owning a pod of ~12 clients and progress through a structured path to Account Director - where you'll own multiple pods as a full business unit. Every level has clear expectations, clear comp, and clear promotion gates. How fast you move is up to you.


YWS runs on a pod model. Each pod has an AM coordinating delivery across creator specialists, media buyers, and shop operators. You are the client's person. You keep the machine running, the clients confident, and the margin protected.




The Progression



Level 1 — Account Manager ($45–50K)


Own day-to-day client relationships across your pod. Coordinate delivery across specialists. Run onboarding. Send weekly updates. Understand how TikTok Shop mechanics, creator programmes, paid media, and commercial performance connect - well enough to keep clients confident and flag issues before they become problems. You understand and escalate.




Level 2 — Senior Account Manager ($60–65K)


Stop escalating, start resolving. Handle client issues independently. Push back on scope creep. Protect pod margin. Mentor AMs. Anticipate capacity risks and plan before problems arrive. Your pod is stable, commercially sound, and does not need saving. Gate: 3+ months as AM, no recurring escalations, commercial awareness demonstrated.




Level 3 — Account Director ($90–95K)


Own 5–7 pods as a business unit. Full accountability for revenue, margin, net retained revenue, capacity, hiring, and people development. Coach SAMs. Set quality and delivery standards. Make resourcing and investment trade-offs. This is a general manager role, not a senior account manager. Gate: 6+ months as SAM, systems thinking, margin consistently protected, AMs successfully mentored.




What You'll Actually Do



Client & Pod Operations:


- Own onboarding speed and quality across ~12 clients per pod

- Coordinate delivery across creator specialists, media buyers, and shop operators

- Send weekly client updates — status, wins, risks, next steps

- Keep scope clear, deliverables tracked, and nothing falling through cracks



Domain Literacy (understand, don't execute):


- TikTok Shop: know the flow from shop application to going live, spot blockers early

- Creators & Affiliates: understand sourcing logic, expected volume, what "good" content looks like

- Paid Media: know whether a client is optimising for efficiency or growth, spot declining performance

- Commercial: understand pod revenue, service tiers, how delays and scope creep damage margin



As You Progress:


- Handle escalations with authority and composure (SAM)

- Protect margin actively — flag when a pod trends below target (SAM)

- Mentor and coach AMs through feedback, roleplay, and review (SAM)

- Set pod targets, make hiring decisions, own P&L (AD)

- Build training loops and playbooks that make new hires ramp faster (AD)



Your First 90 Days


First 30 Days - Learn the Pod:


- Deep immersion into your client accounts and pod team

- Understand every client's service tier, deliverables, and current status

- Build relationships with your creator specialists, media buyers, and shop operators

- Get every client onboarded or re-baselined with clear expectations



Days 31–60 — Run It:


- Full ownership of weekly client communications

- Identify the three highest-friction points in your pod and fix them

- Demonstrate commercial awareness — know your pod's revenue and where margin is at risk

- Handle your first client escalation without needing to pull in leadership


Days 61–90 — Prove It:


- Pod runs smoothly without recurring issues

- Clients are confident, onboarded quickly, and delivery is consistent

- You've earned the trust of your specialists and your clients

- Leadership is discussing your path to SAM, not wondering if you can handle the pod

- You've managed multiple client accounts simultaneously in an agency environment

- You want to specialise in one channel - this is a coordination role, not an execution role

- You can't commit to learning TikTok Shop, creator economics, and paid media at a literacy level

- You need to be told what to prioritise every morning

- You're looking for a certificate or a title bump without the accountability that comes with it

- You prefer strategy decks over operational execution

- You've never owned client satisfaction or retention in a measurable way

- $45,000–$55,000 moving as above to $90-$95 based AM → SAM → AD progression
