You will draft BAT Conclusions, liaise with Technical Working Groups, and produce final documents for publication.
Responsibilities
* Draft BAT Conclusions for slaughterhouse / animal by‑products installations.
* Liaise with Technical Working Groups and stakeholders.
* Prepare and present documents suitable for publication as UK‑wide environmental standards.
* Engage in incident management planning as part of your development plan.
* Support the UKBAT project’s clear goals and targets, ensuring timely delivery of results.
Qualifications & Experience
* At least 5 years’ working experience in environmental regulation related to the slaughterhouse and animal by‑products industry.
* Solid understanding of UK and EU industrial environmental legislation, including IED and Environmental Permitting Regulations.
* Expertise in technical analysis of complex industrial data.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Project‑management experience with a drive to complete tasks.

Working Arrangements
Flexible working patterns, including job share, are welcomed. Some travel and overnight stays may be required.
