Salary: £62,612 - £69,088 per annum (Level 8-12)
Hours: 32.5 hours per week

About the Federation
The Governing Body of the Garw Valley Federation, comprising Betws Primary, Ffaldau Primary and Blaengarw Primary, seeks a dynamic, dedicated and forward‑thinking Head of School.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide dynamic and strategic leadership across our schools, driving improvement and fostering a positive learning culture.
* Lead on key areas including performance management, assessment, safeguarding, estates and buildings management, HR, inclusion, and financial compliance.
* Deputise for the Executive Headteacher as required and collaborate with staff, pupils, parents, and the wider community to shape the future of the Federation.
* Ensure high standards of teaching, learning and wellbeing for every child.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven track record of successful leadership in education.
* Experience leading a primary school or similar educational setting.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and sustain partnerships with pupils, staff, parents, governors and the wider local community.
* Committed to collaboration across schools to drive improvement and innovation.
* Experience in safeguarding, financial compliance and estate management is desirable.
