Position Summary: The Commercial Construction Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities for commercial projects. This role ensures that work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to project specifications. The Site Supervisor coordinates with subcontractors, enforces quality and safety standards, and communicates project progress with stakeholders.
Primary Essential Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate daily on-site construction activities.
* Enforce safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance; develop, implement, and maintain a site-specific safety program in line with Chinburg policies, OSHA requirements, and all applicable local, state, and federal laws (including subcontractor compliance).
* Monitor project timelines and milestones to ensure work is completed on schedule.
* Coordinate and collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
* Conduct regular inspections to verify work quality, safety, and adherence to project specifications.
* Manage delivery, storage, and inventory of materials and equipment.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily logs, site reports, and documentation.
* Resolve on-site issues, conflicts, or delays promptly and effectively.
* Lead site meetings and provide timely updates to project stakeholders.
* Ensure site cleanliness, organization, and a safe working environment at all times.
* Direct onsite laborers in daily tasks such as cleaning and material distribution.
* Develop and execute a plan for tracking and completing punch list items.
* Coordinate all required inspections with appropriate regulatory bodies.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Foreman on commercial construction projects.
* In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, safety protocols, and industry regulations.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Excellent problem-solving and time management abilities.
* Familiarity with construction management software and mobile tools is a plus.
* OSHA certification ( or required depending on region).
* Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Education and Experience Requirements:
* Associate or bachelors degree in construction management or related field .
* Minimum 5 years of relevant commercial construction experience.

* Ability to review and acknowledge understanding of and compliance with Chinburg Builders, Inc. Code of Safety Practices.
* Ability to complete trainings as required by the company.
Work Environment:
* This position is primarily site-based and may involve exposure to outdoor elements, loud noise, dust, and heavy machinery.
* Occasional extended hours, weekend work, or travel may be required depending on project needs.
