The Headteacher and Governing Body are looking to appoint a temporary Level 2 teaching assistant to start 1 September 2025, to be reviewed in July 2026. Subject to term time only adjustment if appointment date is after the start of the academic year.

We are looking for someone who:
* Is able to support pupil learning within mainstream classes
* Is able to support the class teacher in preparing resources, setting up and delivering learning activities and assessing pupils
* Can carry out practical tasks which support the smooth running of the school
* Can work effectively as part of a team
* Has good communication skills to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
* Has good literacy and numeracy skills
* Will be committed to a restorative approach to behaviour management.
* Is confident in supporting pupils with a range of Additional Learning Needs and those with English as an Additional Language.
* Can be positive, optimistic and pro-active within an existing strong team of staff
* Will contribute to the general life of the whole school
