Job Overview

Specialist Information Analyst – MHLD Division. An exciting opportunity to join the Analysis Team, focusing on mental health data, analysis and reporting.

This role supports a wide range of stakeholders across mental health services, providing high‑quality analysis and insight to inform operational delivery, service improvement, and strategic decision‑making. The post holder works with a high degree of autonomy and is expected to proactively identify opportunities where data and analysis can add value.

The Division will implement a new Electronic Health Record (EHR) within the next 1–2 years, and the development of effective, reliable reporting will be pivotal to this programme. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the reporting approach ahead of and during this transformation.

Previous experience of the NHS is desirable but not essential; above all you must be comfortable working with numbers and people, a logical and analytical thinker, and highly proficient in the use of the Microsoft suite of products along with analytical systems such as R or Python. You share our commitment for high quality information to support organisational decision making.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
