Location: Hybrid, flexible with base location UK

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Sales Manager to service some well-established key accounts within the Life Sciences Industry, specifically Pharma & Biotech. This role is primarily accountable for growth, relationship strength, and overall performance within the Manufacturing & Operations business of assigned accounts(s). The Sales Manager will promote our engineering & digital services portfolio, managing client relationships, upselling within the accounts, engaging with teams across multiple business units and geographies to deliver customer satisfaction, building on the already strong client relationships.


Your role

* Market Leadership:
o Plan account strategy for long-term profitable growth and position Capgemini Engineering as a thought leader and strategic partner within the account.
o Leverage strong domain knowledge in the Life Sciences & Healthcare industry to understand customer’s business aspirations and challenges and design comprehensive transformation propositions.
* Relationship Management:
o Cultivates long-term stakeholder relationships and is a trusted advisor to the client.
o Builds and manages relationships across all levels in the client organisation.
* Business Development:
o Creates opportunities to position Capgemini Engineering credentials, assets, and value to the client and qualifies, prioritises, and progresses opportunities to deliver the highest percentage of wins.
* Account Operations:
o Delivers long-term strategy and goals at the BU/Corporate level; manages collaboration across geographies and business units within Capgemini to ensure attainment of common objectives.


Your skills and experience

* The ideal candidate will have experience selling Digital Transformation and Smart Manufacturing solutions, ideally within Life Sciences or the highly regulated sectors.
* You already have and can build intimacy with Senior Executives & Key Stakeholders within Life Sciences accounts, and the wider supply chain eco-system.
* Digital and engineering enabled business transformation is your playground - you can visualize, and design transformational solutions based on client objectives, new business models, and disruptive digital technologies.
* You should have proven experience in leading and delivering large-scale digital strategy and engineering/technology-driven pursuits that can scale up.
* The role needs a strong networker who can manage and connect global multi-disciplinary teams, partners, and alliances across engagement life cycles.


Security clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.
There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.
There are other criteria and checks required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
