About Our Client

Job Description
3. Own the day-to-day NAV stock operations, ensuring stock is accurate and production flows smoothly.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve NAV issues down to the transactional level.
5. Design, implement, and maintain Jet Reports and other tools to ensure system accuracy and data-driven decision making.
6. Work hands-on across production, warehouse, and finance to ensure timely processing of stock movements, inventory adjustments, and shipments.
7. Perform cycle counts, internal audits, and root-cause analysis to identify and eliminate process issues.
8. Collaborate with external NAV consultants and internal stakeholders on system upgrades and enhancements.
9. Guide cross-functional teams through process improvements backed by real-time data and insights.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Nav Systems and Stock Controller should have:
10. Deep experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (ideally NAV 2018) in a tech/manufacturing environment.
11. Hands-on understanding of the Simulated to Finished Production Order cycle and related processes.
12. Strong Excel skills and experience with Jet Reports or similar reporting tools.
13. Experience with inventory control, production admin, sales order processing, and warehouse shipments.
14. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - you see patterns, ask questions, and dig until it's fixed.
15. Basic understanding of accounting principles and stock valuation.
16. Comfortable managing system issue logs, prioritizing fixes, and liaising with external NAV experts.
Desirable experience would also include:
17. Knowledge of SQL and designing simple queries or database views.
18. Experience in internal audits or process verification environments.
19. A passion for improving systems and driving operational efficiency through tech.
