HR Assistant
This role will focus on first line advice to managers in relation to HR Operations, providing clear and accurate information about HR policies, practices, initiatives, and procedures. It will also provide general support in the delivery of HR services across the four directorates within the council.
The post-holder will be required to have, be undertaking, or be willing to undertake the Level 5 HR Apprenticeship.

About the Role
You will provide clear and accurate information regarding HR policies, practices, initiatives, and procedures to guide managers and staff, ensuring compliance with national and local conditions of service, as well as the Council’s values and behaviors.
Responsibilities include resolving queries at first contact, supporting managers with employee lifecycle processing via Unit 4, and analyzing workforce data to inform HR decisions.
Requirements
* Level 3 HR Apprenticeship and working towards (or committed to) undertaking the Level 5 HR Apprenticeship
* Successful experience working in an HR environment
* Ability to interpret employment terms, conditions, and regulations
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and IT packages
* Skills in analyzing and presenting information clearly
* Effective teamwork and communication skills
* Flexible approach to work
