Their team is collaborative, flexible and genuinely enjoys working together.\n\nDue to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are now seeking a talented Pre-Contracts Manager to join their business.\n\nThe Role:\nAs a Pre-Contracts Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping projects from early client engagement through to contract award.
You’ll lead the commercial and programming elements of tenders, collaborate closely with internal teams (especially design and estimating) and help build trust with clients during the pre-construction phase.\n\nYou will be the key figure ensuring bids are not only competitive and well-presented, but also commercially sound and aligned with delivery capability.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Engage directly with clients and consultants to understand project needs, brief and aspirations\n\n * \n\n Lead and manage the tendering process, including pricing strategy and proposal coordination\n\n * \n\n Oversee and develop programme timelines in line with delivery and client expectations\n\n * \n\n Act as the commercial lead during the pre-construction phase, managing risks and budget alignment\n\n * \n\n Work collaboratively with the design, estimating and project delivery teams to produce compelling, accurate proposals\n\n * \n\n Attend pitch meetings, build rapport with clients and support business development\n\n * \n\n Ensure all pre-contract documentation is commercially and contractually robust\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n\n * \n\n Proven experience in a Pre-Contracts, Estimating, Commercial, or Pre-Construction role within the commercial fit out or design & build sector\n\n * \n\n Strong understanding of programming, tendering and project cost planning\n\n * \n\n Confident client-facing skills and the ability to build trust and influence early-stage decisions\n\n * \n\n Commercially astute, detail-oriented and solutions-driven\n\n * \n\n A collaborative mindset and desire to be part of a close-knit team\n\nWhy Join?\n\n * \n\n Work for a well-established business with a respected name in London’s commercial D&B market\n\n * \n\n High-quality projects with blue-chip clients and a healthy forward pipeline\n\n * \n\n Genuine flexibility and autonomy in your role\n\n * \n\n Excellent career development opportunities\n\n * \n\n Strong financial package + performance-related bonus\n\nApply now or reach out for a confidential chat
