Job Description

Employment Law Associate

Based at Home

Competitive Salary

P4B Law is a well-established boutique law firm based in South Wales and is seeking an Employment Associate to join its highly regarded and experienced team. Working primarily from home with occasional on-site client attendance, you will strengthen our current team of employment lawyers.

This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with experienced employment lawyers on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, within a firm known for its high-quality client base and friendly, collaborative culture.

You will deliver clear, practical advice across the full range of employment issues, manage elements of matters with appropriate supervision, and support senior colleagues on complex cases and advisory work. We are an ‘employer only’ practice, limiting our advice to businesses.

You will advise on day-to-day and strategic matters, including disciplinary and grievance issues, dismissals, redundancy and reorganisation, performance and capability, discrimination and whistleblowing, restrictive covenants, settlement negotiations and agreements, ACAS conciliation, Employment Tribunal claims, and drafting/reviewing workplace contracts and policies.

The role will suit a commercially minded UK-qualified junior employment lawyer with strong technical foundations, excellent communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach.

* Keen to develop business awareness and contribute to client relationship- building

\t

* Proactive, organised and collaborative—someone who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team

\t

* Based in South Wales or the South West of England would be desirable but not essential.
\t

In Return

\t

\t

* Competitive salary
