About this role
This role is to manage the delivery of several urban FTTP projects from civils through to cabling and will be the escalation point for both internal and external customers should any questions/challenges arise.
The role requires extensive experience within Telecoms and knowledge of FTTP civils deployment, Local Authority relationships and Health and Safety on site.
You will manage/assist the civils suppliers on site and ensure projects are built in a timely and cost-effective way.
Main responsibilities
* Liaise with our contractors and local authorities and report site status to the business at regular intervals.
* Ensure any installation queries/challenges are addressed, resolved, or escalated.
* Ensure the project is progressing within budget.
* Manage Health & Safety on site of our teams and the public.
* Ensure we have our network built defect free first time.
Key Responsibility Areas
Be the face of delivery on the ground with large civils sites
* Meeting with LAs
* Manage regular site visits
* Managing expectations on delivery
* Scheduling project meetings and updates with line manager
* Providing reports on progress of delivery internally and externally
* Drive accountability across departments ensuring that all stake holders are delivering to project
* Ensure all departments are updated and are aware of any requirements/changes to process.
Identify and Prioritise sites
* Review sites on walk offs with contractors and ensure we have a smooth delivery programme in place.
* Throughout the project delivery, ensure that any issues are escalated in a timely manner and follow through to delivery.

Working Hours
This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. Monday – Friday from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Experience required
* Experience in telecoms Project delivery for 2-3 years.
* Managed projects across multiple stakeholders
* Experience of working with design schematics, duct diagrams and work instructions.
* Knowledge of underground duct network and utilities.
* SROH knowledge.
* TMA knowledge.
* HSG (47) knowledge.
* Be commercially aware.
