An opportunity has arisen for a mechanically-biased Maintenance Engineer on permanent nights to join a leading manufacturing organisation who are known worldwide. The Maintenance Engineer role is commutable from the following locations: Blackburn / Burnley / Preston.
The Maintenance Engineer will be required to work the following Shift: Permanent Nights: Monday to Thursday 22:00pm till 07:30am
Benefits the Maintenance Engineer will receive:
1. Salary: £46,356.96

Key Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer:
8. Apprentice trained, Holding formal qualifications in Mechanical engineering.
9. Experience with CNC Machinery and Conventional machines.
10. Experienced with: Hydraulics & Pneumatics, Gearboxes, Conveyor systems,
11. Holding a Slight Electrical ability would be at an advantage.
12. Welding and Fabrication skills would be at an advantage.
13. Basic Machining experience.
14. Experienced within a FMCG / Manufacturing environment.
Key Duties for the Maintenance Engineer:
15. Perform Planned and preventative maintenance.
16. Support your team and functions throughout the plant.
17. Liaise with coordinator to establish requirements.
18. Assessing each job and the need for spare parts
19. Self-development activities
20. Maintain high quality Mechanical machinery, repairs and maintenance to machinery and site.
