Main duties
In this role, you will be the specialist in vascular ultrasound, taking full responsibility for a diverse caseload. Your core duties will include performing independent, high-quality duplex scans across cerebrovascular, peripheral arterial, and venous systems. You will analyse complex data in real-time, producing clear and definitive diagnostic reports for clinicians. A key part of your work will involve providing expert advice to the multi-disciplinary team, directly influencing patient management plans. Your expertise ensures the delivery of a safe, efficient, and patient-focused diagnostic service throughout your assignment.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Professional Registration: Must be registered with the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) or an equivalent professional body.
* Experience: Proven ability to independently perform and report a wide range of vascular ultrasound examinations.
* Skills: Excellent analytical and decision-making skills to interpret complex scans and produce accurate diagnostic reports.
* Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective reporting and liaison with the multi-disciplinary team.
* Compliance: A clear and current DBS check, with no cautions or convictions that would preclude working in a clinical environment.
* Fitness to Practice: Confirmation of no current warnings or restrictions with your professional body.
