Elevate is recruiting a Junior Commercial Attorney to join our high-performing team, recruiting and placing the best talent in the legal industry. You will provide deal support and participate in projects to improve our customers’ contractual infrastructure, workflow, and processes. You will work independently on assigned matters but will also work collaboratively with other members of the Elevate team and Elevate service lines, as well as the customers in house team.
Specifically, the Junior Commercial Attorney will:
• Become a member of Elevate’s Managed Contracts Services Team, working closely with in-house legal departments and their internal business customers.
• Review, negotiation and management of vendor and merchant contracts on a global basis.
• In-scope contracts for vendor support would include low to medium complexity master services agreements, consulting arrangements, professional services agreements, software licenses, hardware purchase agreements, SaaS agreements, Data Privacy agreements, statements of work and other routine procurement agreements.
• In-scope contracts for merchant support would include low to medium complexity pricing amendments, merchant accession agreements, guarantees and NDAs.
• Work closely with customer legal team and provide support to the procurement and sales teams.
• Review contracts and negotiate acceptable alternatives, working from templates and tools that you will help create.
• Facilitate escalation and resolution of contract issues.
• Update or draft templates, negotiation playbooks, and other contract infrastructure tools.
• Capture various pieces of information related to the contracts or matters that you support.
• Participate or manage customer projects to improve contracting efficiency, cost effectiveness, and knowledge sharing.
• Participate on task forces that strive to improve how Elevate services its customers and that enable our team to develop and grow.
Experience
• 3+ years of relevant experience reviewing, transactional contracts support, including reviewing, interpreting and negotiating commercial contracts relating to procurement, sales, IT and Data Privacy.
• Relevant legal qualifications and a high level of professional proficiency in English and Russian

Qualifications
• Law degree required.
