Salary: £60,000 - 80,000 per year Requirements: Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Infrastructure Architect, or similar role Strong background in data centre environments, colocation, and hosting services Experience with enterprise networking, virtualization, compute platforms, storage technologies, cloud platforms, and hybrid architectures Understanding of security architectures and compliance frameworks Desirable experience with regulated-sector solutions Familiarity with sustainability and energy efficiency in data centres Experience with edge computing and multi-cloud architectures Responsibilities: Design end-to-end infrastructure and hybrid cloud solutions using Datavitas data centre, connectivity, and partner ecosystems Produce high-level and detailed technical architectures, including network, compute, storage, security, and DR/BC Ensure solutions meet performance, availability, compliance, and security requirements Validate designs against operational, financial, and regulatory constraints Act as the technical authority during customer engagements and projects Work with sales and account teams to understand business and technical requirements Lead technical workshops, discovery sessions, and design reviews Present solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Support project and operations teams during solution implementation Provide technical governance throughout the delivery lifecycle Assist with troubleshooting and optimization of deployed solutions Ensure smooth handover to support and operations teams Ensure architectures align with industry best practices and Datavita standards Support compliance with ISO, GDPR, and other relevant regulatory frameworks Embed security-by-design principles into all solutions Contribute to risk assessments and resilience planning Technologies: Architect Cloud Support Network Security More: We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Solutions Architect to join one of the most dynamic and fastest-growing tech companies in Scotland.
