+ To work in conjunction with other clinical scientists & biomechanists in the day-to-day running of the Movement Analysis Centre, including calibration, operation, and maintenance.
+ To be responsible for all the technical aspects, working closely with the N.W.M.A.C. manager and the biomechanist in the lab.
+ To keep abreast of computer technology developments and develop bespoke software packages.
+ To assist in processing and managing patient data, including regular backups.
+ To perform complex technical procedures and assessments using the 3D gait analysis system, involving history taking, physical examination, and accurate application of surface markers.
+ To interpret and analyze clinical and non-clinical diagnoses in highly complex conditions, where evidence may be conflicting or incomplete.
+ To contribute to writing and presenting high-quality gait analysis reports based on advanced theoretical and practical knowledge.
+ To be aware of and implement health and safety policies, report accidents and incidents promptly, and ensure safe equipment use.
+ To communicate effectively and work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies, including BME and gait lab equipment manufacturers.
+ To maintain professional development (CPD), stay updated on trends, and document progress in your CPD portfolio.

1. Working as an effective member of the multidisciplinary Movement Analysis Centre team.
2. Assisting in configuring gait analysis equipment for data collection and ensuring data quality.
3. Managing work within the NWMAC, planning and organizing patient management and time efficiently.
4. Maintaining accurate documentation and communicating assessment and treatment results to relevant parties.
5. Knowing and complying with organizational policies and procedures, and participating in their review and update.
