About The Role
As Design Manager, you will lead on-site design activities, ensuring high standards in technical delivery, buildability, and compliance. You will collaborate with designers, consultants, supply chain partners, and hospital stakeholders to ensure program, cost, and quality targets are met.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage development and coordination of design information from inception to handover.
* Ensure design outputs align with project milestones, construction sequencing, and MMC methodologies.
* Lead design reviews, manage technical queries, and resolve design challenges proactively.
* Support appointment and management of designers, monitoring scope and performance.
* Foster a collaborative, solutions-focused culture within the project team and stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
* Degree in architecture, engineering (civil, structural, MEP), or related field.
* Experience in design management on healthcare, infrastructure, or complex building projects.
* Proactive problem-solving skills and influence for positive outcomes.
* Understanding of DfMA and digital delivery is advantageous.
