Overview

Palliative and End of Life Care Network Manager (Part Time, 22.5 hours, Fixed Term/Secondment 18 months) – Dundee Health & Social Care Partnership.

The post is to join the Tayside Palliative and End of Life Care Managed Care Network (MCN) to work with all teams and stakeholders, drive improvements and innovation to deliver effective PEOLC across the region, and provide comprehensive management and support to the MCN and subgroups. The role aligns to the National Palliative Care Strategy and Tayside Corporate objectives, delivering a regional Palliative care strategy to the citizens of Tayside. The hours are Monday to Friday with flexible/hybrid working options.

Responsibilities

* Plan, organise and co-ordinate groups to agree work plans and projects.
* Support and drive improvements through audit and measurements.
* Collaborate with all members of the multi-disciplinary team (clinical and non-clinical) to deliver local and regional outcomes.
* Deliver the work within the MCN and subgroups, aligning to National and Tayside strategies and corporate objectives.


Qualifications

* Applicants will have had a senior management or clinical role within the NHS or other large, complex organisation.
* A desire to succeed, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and services.
* Strong organisation and planning skills; ability to influence, persuade and manage change across complex systems.
* An understanding of Palliative care is highly desirable.
* Mandatory induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and compliance with the Code of Conduct is required.
