About the Role:As a SEN Supply teacher, you will be delivering lessons to children with needs including: Autism (ASC) Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Moderate to severe learning difficulties (MLD/SLD) Complex needs and communication difficulties* Physical disabilities
Your responsibilities may include: Delivering tailored lessons that support individual learning needs Adapting teaching approaches to suit different abilities and EHCP targets Creating a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment Working closely with support staff, therapists, and school leaders* Promoting positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional wellbeing
What You'll Need to Succeed Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based or alternative settings) Ability to differentiate effectively and manage diverse needs Strong communication, patience, and resilience* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
