The Role: Night Security
As a Night Security person, you’ll be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for our guests and staff while they sleep.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week from 10pm to 8am on Monday to Thursday nights.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitoring the CCTV, regular patrols and keeping record of any situations that arise.
* Effective control of the centre entrances.
* Monitoring staff and guest behaviour, swiftly resolving any situations that may cause a disturbance.
* Following due diligence procedures.
* Providing customer service, dealing with guest queries or complaints.
* Being a key-holder and securing the centre as required.
* Reporting staff sickness.
* Dealing with minor maintenance issues & cleaning of communal guest areas.
* Taking the initial lead in managing any emergency procedures during the night.
* Completing tasks that contribute towards the presentation of the centre.
* Holding the out of hours centre emergency phone.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Previous experience working in an overnight role, or comfortable with working a night role
* Strong work ethic
* Basic Maintenance Skills
* Excellent communication & customer service skills

* Someone who has or is willing to complete a first aid qualification.
