To provide an efficient and effective administrative service with the Manchester Early Intervention Services (EIS) Team. To carry out all administrative tasks related to the EIS role, including audio typing, answering calls from patients, relatives, and clinical staff to support mental health services. Perform various administrative duties as directed by the Community Admin Manager.


Main duties of the job

* Provide admin support to the clinical team for care plans and clinical correspondence.
* Manage all incoming and outgoing mail, processing, distributing, and responding within limits.
* Ensure sufficient stocks of stationery are available without overstocking.
* Coordinate and facilitate information dissemination within the team.
* Handle telephone inquiries courteously and efficiently.
* Produce minutes from meetings such as daily zoning meetings and MDTs.
* Type correspondence and reports, editing for format and grammar within the PARIS system.
* Develop understanding of the patient record system (PARIS) and take responsibility for it.
* Support clinicians and administrators in maintaining Data Quality targets.
* Enter high-quality data into the EPR system to support quality improvement and performance at the team level.
* Access only information authorized as part of your role, whether paper, electronic, or media.

Qualifications

* Grade C/4 or above in English
* NVQ or equivalent in Administration


Experience

* Minimum 2 years administrative experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Experience in a healthcare setting
* Audio typing experience
* Experience with Electronic Patient Systems


Travel requirements

* Ability to work across two locations
