We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Author/Administrator based in Leighton Buzzard to join one of our clients on a part-time, ongoing temporary basis.
Summary of the Technical Author/Administrator role
Salary: £16 per hour
Location: Leighton Buzzard
Type of Contract: Ongoing Temporary
Hours: 30 hours across 5 days
Responsibilities of the Technical Author/Administrator
Ensure all technical documentation has been correctly drafted.
Ensure products have been packed and that shipment details have been passed onto the logistics team.
Assist in generating purchase orders.
Generate budget quotes, cost estimates and technical reports.
Ensure technical records are complete and closed out.
Scan and index records and maintain a consistent index model.
Requirements for a successful Technical Author/Administrator
Experience in a technical administrative role previously.
Technical Author background.
Strong Administrative skills with experience drafting complex and technical documentation.
Proficiency in Excel with all-around good IT skills.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Strong organisational skills.
