Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Architect located in Betchworth, near Dorking in Surrey. The Architect will be responsible for leading architectural design projects, coordinating with clients and team members, and ensuring the successful integration of all design components. Day-to-day tasks include working on project design, managing project timelines, and ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders. You will also be tasked with maintaining commercial awareness and aesthetic value in architectural designs.
Candidates need to have excellent technical knowledge, excellent technical, visualisation and presentation skills as well as a detailed understanding of construction methods and materials. They will also need to have a good understanding of UK Building Regulations and the Principal Designer Roles.
Qualifications
* Degree and Masters or Equivalent level of qualification in Architecture, on a recognised ARB registered course
* Project Management skills
* Knowledge of Vectorworks is preferred, but some level of training to transfer from an equivalent software package will be given
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team coordination
* Ability to work collaboratively and handle multiple projects simultaneously
* Proficiency in design software and tools
* UK ARB registration
* RIBA registration preferred, but not essential
