What you will do
* Investigate allegations and concerns regarding professionals or volunteers working with children.
* Provide advice and guidance to employers and voluntary organisations on managing allegations.
* Chair strategy meetings and offer recommendations for handling individual cases.
* Maintain detailed records of investigations and outcomes.
* Collaborate with social care, police, and other partner agencies to safeguard children effectively.
* Deliver awareness training to professionals on safe working practices and the role of the LADO.
* Regularly review cases and ensure they are closed in a timely manner.
Requirements
* Degree or equivalent in social work
* Current Social Work England registration
* Significant frontline experience in Social Services within the UK working as a qualified Social Worker
