Job Description
3. Drive continuous improvement within the logistics department.
4. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures.
5. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with the established procedures.
6. Provide training and support to the team on CI methodologies and tools.
7. Collaborate with other departments to improve overall operational efficiency.
8. Monitor performance metrics and prepare regular reports.
9. Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
10. Participate in strategic planning and project management activities.
The Successful Applicant
A successful CI Practitioner should have:
11. A degree or experience in a relevant field such as Business Administration or Engineering.
12. Proven experience in a similar role within the Transport & Distribution sector.
13. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
14. Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
15. Six Sigma/ Lean accreditation is an advantage
16. Prince2 training/ accreditation is preferred
17. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
18. Proficiency in using MS Office suite and relevant software applications.
