NHS SBS are recruiting for a Payroll Process Assistant to join their large busy team in Sheffield. This role will be working in the Data Hub, and would be perfect for someone with high attention to detail, who is looking to start their career in a payroll environment.
We can offer great career progression opportunities, this is a full time, hybrid role where you will work 2 days from our Sheffield office and 3 days working at home.
What you'll be doing:
* Process high levels of work with a high level of quality.
* Resolve queries and raise as necessary
* To schedule and prioritise allocated work.
* Support team mates
* Maintain and update information held on a data base or manually.
* Support line management on any additional admin when required.
* Maintain records for audit purposes.
* Make sure deadlines are met.
What you’ll bring:
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Work in a team and build relationships with co-workers
* High attention to detail
* Ability to prioritise work load
* Experience of accurate data entry and validation of financial information
It would be great if you had:
* Sound understanding of PAYE, National Insurance
* A background in investigating and resolving complex pay queries
Employment Type: Full-time 37.5 hours per week - Monday- Friday, Permanent
