Consultant in Neurology with an interest in MS
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Neurology Directorate in a substantive post at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. ABUHB is seeking a highly motivated and experienced clinician to join its established Multiple Sclerosis team. ABUHB has recently invested £6 million into the MS service, with the investment spread across five years to implement strategic improvements in diagnosis, treatment options including Fampridine, Siponodim, and Sativex, as well as rehabilitation programs and support services for MS patients.
Main duties of the job
ABUHB prioritizes comprehensive neurological care, supported by a team of nine consultant Neurologists. The team focuses on accessible outpatient services across the region, with clinics located at various sites. The role includes participation in the 'neurologist of the week' rota (1:8) and delivering outpatient clinics at Nevill Hall Hospital.
