Current registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) or eligibility to apply before taking up the post. An excellent understanding of the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations (NI) 2018. Proven ability to prioritise your own workload and effective communication skills to meet the needs of the post in full. Up-to-date knowledge of current professional issues. Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting / compliance checks including an Enhanced Access NI check due to the nature of this work, this may include a Barred List check for both Children & Vulnerable Adults (depending on the role) Responsibilities Undertake radiographic and imaging examinations, following exposure charts accurately to achieve a high standard of image quality. Strictly apply Radiation Protection Rules and obey Ionising Radiations Regulations (N.I.) 2017 and local departmental protocols. Participate in routine daily inspections of equipment and quality assurance procedures, reporting any malfunctions to the appropriate manager. Maintain a high standard of service characterised by courtesy, kindness, interest, and efficiency at all times. Abide by the Society of Radiographers and HCPC Codes of Professional Conduct. Take responsibility for your own professional development in accordance with CPD requirements.
