We are delighted to be recruiting a motivated and passionate Teacher of Mathematics to join a thriving secondary school in the Solihull area from September on a fixed‑term basis. This opportunity is well‑suited to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to build strong classroom experience within a supportive environment.
The RoleThe successful candidate will:
1. Teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 may be available depending on experience)
2. Deliver engaging, inclusive, and well‑planned lessons that promote progress and confidence
3. Use assessment data effectively to support and challenge learners
4. Work collaboratively within a well-established and supportive Maths department
5. Maintain high expectations of behaviour, attainment, and achievement
Person SpecificationWe are keen to hear from candidates who:
6. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
7. Have UK teaching experience (school placements accepted for ECTs)
8. Possess strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Mathematics
9. Are reflective practitionersmitted to continuous improvement
10. Have excellentmunication and classroom management skills
