Role: Senior Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant (D365 F&O / AX)
Location: Europe-based (remote/hybrid with international travel as needed)
Role Overview:
An exciting opportunity for a seasoned Finance Consultant with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (formerly AX) to join a global consultancy working on cross-border, enterprise-scale ERP projects. This senior role involves leading finance workstreams, advising clients on best practices, and delivering high-quality solutions that drive business transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the delivery of D365 Finance modules across international implementation projects
* Translate complex finance requirements into scalable, sustainable solutions
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
* Ensure all implementations follow structured project methodology and best practices
* Act as a trusted advisor to clients, proactively identifying improvements and risks
* Contribute to pre-sales activities, including solution design and client presentations
* Provide mentorship to junior consultants and support knowledge-sharing across teams
* Represent the consulting team professionally in both client-facing and internal engagements
Key Requirements:
* 5 years + of ERP consulting experience, with strong expertise in D365 F&O or AX finance modules
* End-to-end international ERP implementations
* Previous hands-on experience in a finance role (e.g., accounting, FP&A, controlling)
* Solid understanding of global financial processes, compliance, and localisation requirements
* Proven track record in pre-sales, solution design, and client engagement
* Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (written and spoken)
* Strong analytical mindset, proactive attitude, and client-oriented approach
* Able to work independently and thrive in a multicultural, distributed team environment
