Electronics Engineer
Our client is seeking a motivated Electronics Engineer to join their R&D team in North Yorkshire. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to new product development, innovation, and continuous improvement of existing products.
The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate in Electronics Engineering with 2+ years of industry experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to R&D activities including new product development
* Support small projects and elements of larger engineering projects
* Produce technical specifications and design documentation
* Provide electrical design input across projects
* Support production, logistics, and integration teams with technical expertise
* Assist Sales and Marketing with technical input for proposals
* Provide off-site engineering support when required
* Assist with manuals, customer support, and training
* Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry regulations
Engineering Experience
Experience in several of the following areas:
* Electric motors and power distribution systems
* Variable speed drives and soft starters
* Industrial sensors and communication systems
* Analogue and digital circuit design
* PCB design, prototyping, and manufacturing standards
Skills & Requirements
* Strong technical and problem-solving skills
* Safety conscious with knowledge of QHSE / ISO 9001 practices
* Experience with AutoCAD or DraftSight and Altium
* Good technical documentation skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
