The Opportunity
Our client is a global creative communications agency looking for an Account Director to join their team in the West Midlands. You will work with key clients, supporting the strategic direction of their events. You need previous event agency experience and confidence discussing event content and strategy at a senior level.

They specialise in Live and Virtual Events, Campaigns, Strategic Support, bespoke films, and Incentive Travel. They focus on translating strategy into engaging experiences and communications.
About You:
They seek a highly skilled individual with 5+ years of event production agency experience to manage client projects, including large-scale, high-budget events. Strong project management, attention to detail, and stakeholder communication skills are essential. You should have a background in content development, financial management, and be a strategic thinker and problem solver.

Key Responsibilities:
* Project Management: Manage delivery of client projects, oversee briefing, liaise with suppliers, content development, technical, logistics, delegate management, and attend events.
* Content Development: Lead creative content across all media, including digital, video, and graphics.
* Financial Management: Oversee project profitability, margins, and client contract obligations, ensuring projects are cash flow positive and costed accurately.
* Process and Quality Control: Ensure projects meet ISO 9001 standards, improve processes, and maintain high quality.
* ROT: Own ROT targets, support client buy-in, and encourage strategic thinking among team members.
* Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively within the team.
* Client Management: Oversee production, attend client meetings, communicate with senior contacts, and identify opportunities.
* New Business & Business Development: Assist in identifying new opportunities, attend meetings, and develop client growth plans.
* Health & Safety: Oversee H&S compliance and paperwork.
* CRM: Keep CRM updated.
* Line Management: Lead and performance-manage team members, support staff development.
* Company Culture: Promote company values, participate in meetings and activities.

Requirements:
* 6-7+ years in event production agency
* Experience with ROI methodology
* Content development experience, especially in conferences
* Experience working with internal communications and video production
* Valid driving license and car
