Senior Returns and Recoveries Administrator
Newark – Newark Distribution Centre – Permanent – Full Time – Grade 2 – Salary: £26,578.50 – Shift Pattern: Shift over 7 days (37.50 working hours per week)

Our Returns and Recoveries team ensures that non‑new stock and business recalls are either returned to the supplier or sold to third‑party vendors. In this hybrid role you will play a key part in making this happen, working primarily from home with occasional onsite visits to our Newark site.
As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Raising invoices and managing the end‑to‑end exit of non‑new and business recalls stock, ensuring all processing is accurate across systems, portals and supplier profiles.
- Supporting and liaising with different teams to maximise efficiency, while maintaining accurate stock records and financial trackers in line with budget.
- Managing relationships with internal teams, suppliers and third parties to resolve queries, progress collections, improve turnaround times and reduce aged stock.
- Taking ownership for documentation accuracy, resolving invoice and payment issues, and ensuring all processes are completed compliantly and efficiently.
- Contributing to team KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance performance and reduce discrepancies.
You will need:
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage, influence and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Analytical thinking skills with a high level of attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise, manage workload and meet agreed timescales.
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a wider team.
- Previous experience working in a reverse logistics environment would be desirable.
